23 Feb 2011 from 7.00pm to 9.00pm at Kinglake Village Hall

KRCRC Public Information Night will be held at the Kinglake Village Hall from 7.00pm - 9.00pm on Wednesday 23rd February 2011 about Building Sustainable Homes & Communities in the Aftermath of Natural Disaster.

Michael Reynolds is a Sustainable Housing Innovator & Earthship Architect. For over forty years Michael Reynolds has been been designing and building sustainable homes that heat and cool themselves, are built from natural and recycled materials, produce their own electricity, collect their own water, treat their own sewage and grow their own food.

Green Cross Australia will also showcase 'Build It Back Green' a new service designed to help Victorian communities recovering from Black Saturday to build their homes back in an affordable and sustainable manner. Build It Back Green's website provides comprehensive advice on  the lowest cost green rebuilding techniques, focusing on energy efficiency, water savings, waste disposal, comfort and indoor air quality.
